Step 2: Unscrew the sleeve at the bottom of the existing batten and slide the DIY fixture in place

Our light kits are designed to fit most B22 batten holders typically installed on the ceiling of Australian homes. Ensure that you follow all safety measures as you start the process, for example, remember to turn off the power prior to installation. Fit the B22 adaptor plug into the existing B22 batten, then slide the canopy over the batten holder by gently pushing it upwards. Ensure that the connection is firm and secure.

Step 3: Screw the sleeve back on and insert your globe

Make sure that you do not touch the globe with bare hands while it is ON, as it becomes extremely hot when in use. Install the correct light globe and make sure that it does not exceed the maximum wattage. Switch on the light to check if it is working and enjoy the new fresh look in your home.
