Brilliant Lighting has been a leader in the Australian lighting industry for 40 years, providing innovative and reliable solutions for homes and businesses.

Founded in 1984 in partnership with Brilliant Germany, we began as a small Australian private brand extension of Brilliant AG. Over the years, we’ve grown into a multi-channel supplier, offering a wide range of lighting and air movement products across residential, commercial, and trade markets.

In the early 1990s, Brilliant AG was acquired by the EMESS group. Under this management, the company expanded its presence, moving from a modest warehouse to larger facilities in Rowville, Victoria.

With the rise of Bunnings in the late 90s, Brilliant Lighting established itself as a key supplier in the retail market. In 2010, we rebranded and introduced a new trade range, including HVAC products, to target electrical wholesalers.

In 2024, Brilliant Lighting entered a new era when it became part of the ARLEC group of companies, marking a milestone in our journey of growth and innovation. Today, we continue to provide quality lighting solutions that enhance the way Australians live and work.
